The sturdy horses standing four-square on a rectangular base, the female riders poised with their heads tilted slightly downwards, the hands envelopped in the long sleeves of the robe, one positioned against her abdomen, the other along her right side, the bridled horses with cropped manes and ducked tail, traces of red, black and green pigment and white slib

The dating of this lot is consistent with the result of the Oxford thermoluminescence test nos. C198h2 and C198h4.
