The central dish moulded as a star, surrounded by eight petal-shaped side dishes, each decorated with a coat-of-arms surmounted by a helmet and arm holding a sickle, wood tray (tray not matching, small rim chips)

Lot Essay

The arms are probably after those of Johannes van Camphuys, Governor General of the VOC in Batavia from 1684-1691.
