Finely enamelled on the globular sides with two shaped panels framed by Louis XV-style gilt scrolls, one depicting a lady accompagnied by attendants and children watching a dancer, the other side showing a group of lady musicians, all reserved on a gilt scrollwork ground between puce landscape cartouches, repeated on the cover with knop finial (small rim chips, cover rubbed)
