The blue-ground bowl decorated in colours with a central cartouche depicting a Wattauesque-scene with two gallant couples in a garden, surrounded by rococo-style cisel gilt motifs with scrolls, musical trophies, flowers and trelliswork, the reverse with a riverlandscape surrounded by gilt scrolls, the ormolu rim pierced with scrolling foliage and flowers, the ormolu handles shaped as caryatids with wings, the domed foot with a continuous river landscape between gilt cisel motifs above an ormolu tied laurel wreath, and the shaped-square ormolu plinth applied with neo-classical motifs, the inside with bouquets
