Designed by Prof. Vetter for Bauer, Rosenthal & Co in Kronach, circa 1900
Oviform with short neck and scalloped rim, glazed in shades of blue, pale green, dusty pink and white heightened with gilt, the vessel moulded with a maiden swimming amidst waves and vegetation, applied on one side with a figure of a satyr playing the pipe and on the other side with a climbing nude female
