Lot Essay

The Woiciechow Joint-Stock Company was founded in the town of Woichiechow in 1871. The factories were in Prague and Warsaw and the company exhibited various pieces of bentwood furniture at the 1889 World Exhibition in Paris. Many of the designs were identical to the designs executed by Thonet.
