Maker's mark of C.E. Held, Amsterdam, 1853 and with assayer's mark H.W. van Riel, Amsterdam
One shaped rectangular and one of oval form and both lobed, rim and cover decorated with a reeded band, the covers engraved with foliage, on a lobed tray with foliate engraved border
The tray 37cm. (14in.) wide
marked on the sides and in the covers, the tray on the reverse
