Commemorating the Treaty of Breda, 1667, the box made from a medal by Peter van Abeele from circa 1655, chased with two historical scenes: Count Willem IV granting the city-arms to Amsterdam in 1342 and Emporer Maximiliaan granting the imperial crown to Amsterdam in 1488; the medal with the Batavian Lion at a shore, with war ships in the background inscribed sIC fInes nostros, leges tVtaMVr, et VnDas, the other side inscribed with DEO.
