Apparently unmarked, Dutch, circa 1750 and maker's mark badly struck and IS, Vienna, 1826 and 1840
Of rectangular form, the cover and base stepped, the sides engraved with scrolling foliate motifs, the cover and base centered by an oval depicting two elegant scenes, a band with text below: paartijd Jaagen om een jonge Vrijster te behaagen Mocht ik haar nietent Jaagen sou mij niet Verdrieten the other two each of rectangular form with an engine-turned pattern, one with foliate border
