A fine and rare Oriental silver travelling inkwell with penholder
Marked in Arabic, Probably Iraq, 19th Century
The oblong penholder with hinged cover mounted with octagonal bomb inkwell, both decorated all over with naturalistic flowers and foliage, with Hebrew inscription praising Jewish virtues and the owner's name finely engraved in Hebrew on the inkwell: Benjamin son of Dan Yatsliach.
