A silver filigree spice-tower
Apparently unmarked, probably Eastern Europe, 18th Century
The square domed base set on four claw-and-ball supports, the baluster stem ending with a globe and a half-globe knop, the square spice-section fitted with a gallery and a hinged arched door, four wireworked pillars on the corners, each topped by a ball with flag, the three-tired spire hung with a bell inside the first tire, surmounted by a filigree spherical knop topped by a pennant with a ball above.
