A Silver-Gilt Three Piece Havdalah Set
Stamped with the standard mark 800, first quarter of the moon and crown, Germany, circa 1900.
Comprising: 1) A Havdalah cup, set on a circular domed base with cylindrical stem, decorated with C-scrolls, flowers and rocailles, the campana-form bowl inscribed in Hebrew Havdalah within a scroll and rocaille cartouche.
2) The Spice Tower, set on a circular domed base and decorated similarly to the Havdalah cup, the cylindrical spice-section fitted with two turrets on the sides, each topped by a flag, the tapering spire, surmounted by rampant lion finial.
3) The matching Havdalah candleholder, set on a similar circular domed base, surmounted by a movable candleholder set within a frame of four wire supports, the top with a wax-guard.
