The arched glazed case flanked by Corinthean columns centred by the velvet-covered dial with gilt-metal chapterring, above a foliate engraved plaque signed Marguerite A Paris, the movement with verge escapement and outside countwheel strike on a later bell above the backplate signed Marguerite AParis/St. Germain, minor restorations
