In the Empire style, the circular malachite-lined top with stiff-leaf ormolu edge, supported by rectangular tapering fluted legs, headed by winged mermaid figures and terminating in claw feet, on concave sided quadripartite base with moulded foliate edge and centring on a malachite and ormolu urn with flaming finial
