The case in the form of a chariot drawn by two horses and surmounted by a winged Cupid, the chariot wheel containing the circular white enamelled Roman dial signed Le Roy/P. Royal with moon hands, the twin-going barrel movement with silk-suspended pendulum and outside countwheel strike on one bell, above the rectangular stepped base mounted with armorial trophies, on claw feet, minor damages
