Surmounted by a group of a maiden with a bow, seated against a tree-stump, comforted by a youth in a toga, the tree-stump containing the circular dial, with twin-train movement, on a naturalistically-cast rectangular base, on a rectangular verde antico marble plinth, cast with scrolling foliage and anthemia, on acanthus-cast scrolled feet
