The shaped case decorated all-over with trees, blossom, exotic birds and butterflies, the hinged top elaborately painted to the reverse with a landscape and a putto riding on the back of a butterfly chasing bird, with satinwood-veneered interior, with serpentine-shaped foliate-carved apron, on acanthus-carved cabriole legs and hoof sabots, with lyre-shaped pedal support; the silk-damask-upholstered duet stool en suite
The piano: 59 in. (150 cm.) wide; 41 in. (106.7 cm.) high, lid closed; 86 in. (218.5 cm.) long
