The centre with an oval basket of garden flowers within a border of swags and wreaths of pink roses beneath a shaped gilt dentil rim

According to the sales records for 13 September 1774 '18 assiette soupe corbeilles e guilandes de rose' were sold to the third Earl of Egremont for 33 livres each, together with other items of mixed decoration.
