A Meissen Imari lobed quatrefoil teabowl and saucer
Circa 1735, blue crossed swords marks
Painted in iron-red and enriched with gilding, the teabowl with two Bttger-lustre panels with gilt trellis ornament, each reserved with a chrysanthemum flower, divided by panels with flowering plum branches, the saucer similarly decorated around a central quatrefoil panel with flowers and scrolling foliage, gilt line rims (minute wear to gilt rim of teabowl, slight wear to well of saucer)
