A Meissen bullet-shaped teapot and cover
Circa 1735, blue crossed swords mark
Painted with scattered Holzschnitt Blumen, one side painted with three travellers seated in a landscape, drinking a toast and cooking fowl, the other side with two men drinking in a landscape, one leaning against a barrel and a dwarf between them, the wishbone handle and bird's head spout enriched in gilding, the cover with a pine-cone finial flanked by two exotic figures, gilt line rims (restoration and chip to finial, slight retouching to rim of cover, some glaze flaking to green enamel)
