Circa 1748, traces of blue crossed swords mark to Africa at back
Modelled by F. E. Meyer, emblematic of Africa, America, Europe and Asia, Africa modelled as a negro with an elephant's head headdress, yellow-lined pink cloak, jewelled belt and feathered skirt, holding a sceptre and a sheaf of corn, the base moulded with a lion (restoration to hands, headdress, sceptre and corn), America in feathered headdress, cape, skirt and calf bands, holding a bow and with one foot resting on a cornucopia overflowing with jewels, fruit and flowers, the base moulded with an alligator (restoration to lower part of right arm, some feathers to headdress and end of bow lacking, two feathers to skirt partly lacking, minor chips), Europe wearing a crown, ermine-lined lilac cloak, yellow bodice hung with purple bands and flowered skirt, holding an orb and a sceptre, a globe, book and a cornucopia at her feet, the base moulded with a horse (tips of fingers of right hand, cross of orb and left index finger lacking, minor chips), Asia in a mitre, lilac-lined yellow coat, puce dress and flowered underskirt, holding a sceptre and an incense-burner, the base moulded with a camel (restoration to headdress, arms and sceptre restored replacements, restoration to top of incense-burner), all standing on scroll-moulded mound bases enriched with gilding
