A Meissen ormolu-mounted dove
Circa 1735, the mounts Louis XV
Modelled by J.J. Kndler to the right, its incised plumage enriched in grey, pink and black, its brown feet with grey and pink feathers and perched astride green conical rockwork (broken through tail and wings and restored, restoration to beak, top of neck, wing, tail and feet feathers and two claws on each foot, tips of two feathers on feet lacking)
12.5/8 in. (32 cm.) high overall
