Two Meissen shaped circular dishes of Schmetterling pattern
Circa 1740, blue crossed swords marks, Dreher's and Pressnummer 20 to one, three circles to the other
Painted in the Kakiemon palette, the centres with a butterfly resting on a branch of flowering peony, one with another insect, the borders with flower-sprays, brown line rims (one with wear to brown enamel of rim and chipping to inside of footrim, minute wear to enamels)
