A Meissen turquoise-ground cylindrical chocolate-pot
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 23, gilder's 80.
With foliage-moulded gilt spout and handle at right angles, painted with river-landscapes, one side painted with figures at discussion below a tree, the other with merchants loading a boat, within quatrefoil brown line and gilt band cartouches, the shoulder with Holzschnitt Blumen (handle broken and repaired, minute wear to gilding)
