The funnel bowl engraved and cut with a rose-spray including a flower in profile and a bud and with a foliate sprig, perhaps heather, attached to the stem, the reverse with a spray of Scotch-thistle with a similar sprig attached, supported on a double-knopped stem above a conical foot
