San Jernimo penitente

Este cuadro est basado en la pintura de San Jernimo que se encuentra en la Galleria Sabauda, Turin, que en un principio fue atribuido a Ribera, pero mas adelante fue atribuido a su taller, y posiblemente por el mismo seguidor que realiz el San Bartolom en la coleccin Harrach, Schloss Rohrau, Austria.


This picture is closely based on the larger painting of Saint Jerome in the Galleria Sabauda, Turin, formerly attributed to Ribera, but now thought to be a workshop hand, possibly the same follower responsible for the Saint Bartholomew, in the Harrach collection, Schloss Rohrau, Austria.
