Lot Essay

Some of this eclessiastical wooden caskets were found in the area of Cantabria but the existance of one in the Pedralbes, Monastry dated in Catalan, in 1607, gives us a wider vision of their production area. Some of them were donated to churches as the names of the donators are often shown on the outside of the pieces.
