Crossbanded and banded overall and inlaid with simulated panels framed by chequer-banded and tulipwood borders, the rectangular top centred by a rectangular red morocco leather writing-surface and flanked by rectangular quarter-veneered simulated panels, above a frieze drawer and a kneehole, flanked to either side by two short drawers, with simulated fluted angles, on square tapering legs inlaid with simulated fluting and terminating in square feet, minor restorations, remounted
