These tables are sometimes refered to as credence tables, which refers to the table by an altar for storing the host and communion wine before consecration. Many such tables have a semi-circular top.

With a canted moulded hinged top and triangular base with moulded friezes, on turned and block legs joined by moulded square section stretchers, on ball feet, the reverse with scroll-carved frieze and spindle-galleried gate
