Contemporary French dark green morocco gilt, sides stamped with plaque and central red morocco on-lay containing arms of Jacques-Ange Gabriel [Olivier 578, variant fer], spine with fleur-de-lis in compartments, gilt star-patterned pastedowns (minor abrasions on sides).
The plaque, possibly by Dubuisson, also adorned Gumuchian 277 and Abbey III, lot 1620. (2)
