At Scarborough

Enhanced by a picturesque natural setting, and 'healing' mineral springs, Scarborough was a fashionable spa resort throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The town enjoyed the seasonal patronage of many famous residents, including the artists Frederic Leighton and John Atkinson Grimshaw.
