Signed Beveridge and Dated 1902
The arched pediment centered by a monogram dated 1902 above a wreath swag, surmounted by a fleur-de-lys finial, above a frieze carved with flowers, flanked to each side by an oval patera, above two fluted Composite pilasters, on a shaped stepped molded base on two scrolled brackets, inscribed BEVERIDGE to the right

Lot Essay

Possibly Miss Kuhne Beveridge, born in 1877 at Springfield, Illinois. She studied in New York with O'Donovan and in Paris with Rodin. She exhibited in 1896 at the Royal Academy, London and at the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle where she awarded a Mention Honorable.
