Each of bowl shape, with three handles joined by fruit and flower swags, on an associated waisted octagonal stand, one with an unidentified circular mark under one handle
The planters: 30 in. (76.5 cm.) diameter; 16 in. (40.5 cm.) high

The Compton Potters' Arts Guild, was established by Mary Seton Watts (d. 1938), the wife of the Symbolist and portrait painter and sculptor George F. Watt (d. 1904), in Compton, Near Guildford, Surrey. Her creation, the Watts Chapel in Compton is one of the most remarkable Art Nouveau buildings in Britain.
