The one-piece case engraved overall with scrolling foliage on a hatched ground, solid sliding panel to the rear with shutters for the winding and calendar set squares, large bevelled glass aperture to the top, the white enamel Roman dial signed Ch. Oudin AParis, ormolu moon hands, subsidiary rings below for day of week and date, the twin barrel movement with gilt lever platform with plain three-arm brass balance, countwheel strike on a bell on the plain backplate
