Swiss; last quarter 19th century
The foliate engraved gilt dial mask with a central lobed recess with apertures displaying the digital hours and minutes with recessed silvered seconds disc above, the movement with cut bimetallic compensated balance to the lever platform, hour and half-hour strike via a spring barrel in the plinth wound through the base engraved with an arrow direction and sonnerie, the blued steel gong positioned on the backplate engraved by the retailer M.J. Pack Bombay & Paris, Swiss Made, the foliate engraved case of typical form with a lever to the right side top moulding for advancing the minutes
