The matt silvered dial signed and numbered Ulysse Nardin Locle Suisee 4039 (red infilling), Roman hour numerals matt black finish hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds dial with blued steel hand, and up-and-down dial with matt black finish hand, matt gilt finished frame the top-plate inscribed with the Ulysse Nardin mark and numbered 4039, cut bimetallic Guillaume "integral" balance with four small cyclindrical heat compensation weights, palladium helical balance spring, Ulysse Nardin flat spring steel adjustable detent assembly (repaired) and with steel locking pallet, brass bowl and gimbal, three-tier brass bound dark mahogany box, the centre section with applied white metal rectangular maker's plaque, the bottom with circular metal disc inscribed 4039, brass external drop handles
