The silvered dial signed and numbered Morris Tobias 31 Minories London 292, Roman hour numerals, gold hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds dial with blued steel hand, up-and-down dial with gold hand, main-frame assembly inscribed Morris Tobias, 31 Minories, London No. 292 and carrying reversed fusee barrel and centre wheel, sub-frame assembly carrying remainder of the train and Earnshaw escapement, cut bi-metallic Pennington format balance with peripheral screws, circular heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring, modern Mercer flat strip steel detent with side-mounted locking jewel, brass bowl gimballed in replacement plain three-tier mahogany box, external brass drop handles.
