The case with moulded base and double locks to the glazed door, the 12 in. diam. painted dial signed Dent 16 Strand & 4 Royal Exchange London, Clockmaker to the King No. 59109, the regulator layout with blued steel hands, circular aperture within the seconds ring to observe the subsidiary electric contact wheel on the escapewheel arbor (contacts now removed), the movement with four pillars, deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, woodrod pendulum, the backplate signed Dent Clockmaker to the King 16 Strand & 4 Royal Exchange London 59109
