The case with chamfered angles flanking the brass-lined glazed trunk door and sides, similarly chamfered hood with ripple mouldings, the 11 in. diam. silvered regulator dial signed Edwd. J. Dent, 82, Strand London, all hands of blued steel, the seconds with observatory markings, the four pillar movement with jewelled deadbeat escapement and Harrison's maintaining power, the steel rod pendulum with mercury jar compensation; case with restorations
