The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with free sprung bimetallic balance, flat blued steel hairspring with Breguet overcoil and diamond endstone, Earnshaw spring detent escapement with jewelled locking stone, dust shroud to the winding arbor, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, large subsidiary seconds and gold spade hands, in plain silver case with gold hinges to the bezel and back, casemaker's mark CBH for Cornelius Brook Holliday, with three tier mahogany observation box and key, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered
