The recovery of the French economy which followed the Restoration resulted in many of the French and foreign bankers who had ceased buying around 1808 resuming their patronage of Breguet. The Rothschild family made a number of purchases, including a repeating perpetuelle, and after Breguet's death continued business with his son Antoine-Louis.
