Capsule cut to reveal fully branded cork. Bin-soiled and slightly torn label. Level into neck
Tasting note: lovely, rich, and still the vigourous blackberry hue. The bouquet unfolds in the glass, revealing rich, ripe mulberry-like fruit, a cigar box scent, immense and intense flavour. On the palate a touch of ripe grape and high alcoholic sweetness, rich, velvety, yet still tannic, fairly full-bodied, a beautiful wine with years of life in hand. M.B.
