A FINE PAIR OF MUGHAL-STYLE PALE CELADON JADE BOWLS

Each identically carved around the thin sides in low relief with a scrolling flower-meander, between stylised acanthus leaf bands, the short spreading foot carved forming overlapping rows of flower petals, the base carved and incised as a flower-head, the semi-opaque stone of pale greenish tone with clouding and few horizontal darker brown-green streaks, minute rim nicks
