The arms are those of Cooke quartering Warren with Twysden in pretence. See D.S. Howard, op.cit., 1974, p.325, where a plate from this service is illustrated, but with a view of the Pearl River in a third panel at the border in place of the crest. The author points out that both versions are found in this service. A plate with the crest at the border is illustrated by F. and N. Hervout and Y. Bruneau, op.cit., p.19, fig.1.15.
