A bronze incense-burner and cover of four-sided baluster form, decorated in silver, shakudo, shibuichi and sentoku relief, the front and back with views of lake Biwa, the distant hills in katakiribori, a gourd-vine on a bamboo trellis, and a sparrow, cherry-blossom and narcissus, standing on four foliate feet, the rim and outswept rectangular lug handles with gilt fret pattern, the cover with a shishi finial
