The vase with slightly flared rim, the central band decorated in relief with butterflies, chrysanthemums and hollyhocks, on a diaper ground in silver with half chrysanthemums in gilt, the base of sahari [a copper-lead-tin alloy] with three lug feet; the box with gilt rims and lining decorated in inlay of silver and two shades of gold with a demon offering a dish of peaches, two Rakan [disciples of Buddha] seated on a rock beneath a pine tree, on the sides a cockerel and morning glories, a frog and arum lilies, plovers and waves and an egret and pampas grass
