(7.3cm.) high; a wheelwright carving a wheel and a child holding a plane in his hand, signed Munemasa, 3.5/8in. (9.2 cm.) wide; a stone-carver kneeling beside the upper part of a pagoda, his tools at his side, signed Seio, slight old wear 2.5/8in.( 6.7cm.) high; a clam-seller, signed Seiko, minute chips, 3in.(6.9cm.) high; a man suprised at finding a tanuki [racoon or badger] emerging from his back-pack, signed Seishi, 2.7/8in.
