The unusual bowl on high foot decorated in blue, yellow, green and black enamels, with a large ivy leaf on a stylised rice plant pattern, the rim with a wide band of geometric design above another band of geometric design, the reverse with arabesque and flowerhead pattern, chip, with inscribed fitted box Kutani Hirabachi
9in. (24.2cm.) diam.

This bowl has a small piece to the rim which is chipped. A small crack extends from it.
