The cover decorated in gold, silver and coloured lacquer with a front view of the vessel filled with the treasures including the key to the store-house of the gods, the hat of invisibility, the hammer and the inexhaustible purse, the figurehead in the form of the three-clawed dragon clasping a wish-granting pearl, the front railings in silvered metal, flowers and buds in copper, the interior in nashiji, the inkstone fits into the space between two removable trays, the water-dropper in the form of shippo, silvered metal rims, slight old restoration, with fitted wood box
