The russet iron mask similar in style to those of the Yoshi Ryu but with more shape to the cheeks and nose which is detachable and held by hooks, standing flanges on each cheek and twisted wire pegs beneath the chin for the helmet cords, a short tube beneath the chin for perspiration the ears brought on, attached to the lower edge by a band of printed leather is a two lame solid plate throat defence laced with dark blue spaced lacing and red knots, the interior lacquered red
